The BBQ Pit Boys know how to make an ordinary pork chop special. Their Stuffed Pork ‘n Pig Chops take the same old stuffed pork chop and fill it with cheese and your favorite deli meats, which makes it perfect for a cookout, a family picnic or a tailgating party.

Stuffed Pork ‘n Pig Chops Recipe
The original Stuffed Pork ‘n Pig Chops video is no longer available. The BBQ Pit Boys have since grilled another stuffed chop, this time with cornbread stuffing, and you can watch it below:
Tips for stuffed pork chops
- Buy thick chops. You need a chop at least an inch and a half thick to cut a good pocket. Thin chops tear and dry out before the filling is hot.
- Cut a pocket, not a tunnel. Slice into the side of the chop toward the bone, leaving the other three sides closed so the filling stays in.
- Close it up. Toothpicks or butcher’s twine keep the pocket shut on the grill.
- Use a thermometer. Pork is done at 145°F (63°C) in the meat, followed by a 3-minute rest. Check the meat, not the filling.
- Good fillings. Ham and Swiss, salami and provolone, bacon and cheddar, or spinach and feta all work. Keep it to things that are already cooked.
