    1. You’re so welcome, Stephanie! We love your recipe very much! Thanks for your lovely comment and for the recipe! 😉

Sandi, the link to the full written recipe is at the end of the article just below the ingredients. Hope it helps!

  1. I make almost the same recipe but omit the sour cream. Spray bottom of crockpot with cooking spray, put four pieces of Swiss cheese, then add rest of ingredients (I also use frozen carrots) and cook as directed. Open some cranberry sauce and gravy and it’s almost like Thanksgiving. Yum!

  2. I love love love the one recipe i have for this. ( i always change modify. And season differently) but 4 chicken brests. Mix 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 8 oz container sour cream. Ad to a bag of stuffing mix with 1 cup water top chicken. Top woth frozen fresh or canned grean beans. High of 3 to 4 houra low 8 hours. So good

  3. Crock Pot Chicken and Stuffing
    Serves: 3-4 servings

    Ingredients
1(10.5) ounce can of cream of chicken soup (or use cream of mushroom soup, it’s less salty)
    8 oz. sour cream
1 (6 oz.) box stuffing mix* (Stove Top & Pepperidge Farm are a few of my favs)
    ¾ cup water
1 (16 oz.) bag frozen green beans
3-4 large chicken breasts, salted and peppered if desired.
    Instructions
Place the chicken on the bottom of the crock pot.
Mix together the soup, sour cream, stuffing, half of the water, and place over the chicken.
Place the string beans either on one side of the crock pot or over the stuffing. You’ll want to mix the stuffing periodically if possible- I don’t mind mixing the string beans in with the stuffing but if you’d prefer that they remain separate, place the string beans more to the side.
Add the remaining water during the cooking process as needed. I always use all of the water but crock pots cook slightly differently, so adding as needed is safer. If you’re leaving for the day, add the remaining water when you return if you feel you need it.
Cook on high for 4 hours, or on low for 6-7
*No need to cook the stuffing mix prior to adding to crock pot
Notes for those who cant open this recipe

  4. I make this with a few changes. I spray crockpot with cooking spray, layer four pieces of Swiss cheese. Add chicken breasts. I don’t use sour cream. Mix stuffing with soup, can of water. Cover top of chicken. I use frozen carrots. Cooke on high for 3 1/2 hours so it doesn’t dry out. When ready to serve I serve it with chicken gravy and cranberry sauce.

  5. I agree but it is because the recipe is written wrong. You put the chicken in the crackpot, then mix up the soup, sour cream and parsley. Pour over chicken. Then mix stuffing with broth and put that on top. Let it cook. It will be better

  6. Damn, wake up! It is 2017. When will America stop trying to think gourmet cooking involves cans of soup, Lipton’s Onion Soup mix, and all sorts of pre-packaged stuff? Have you actually read the list of ingredients on that stuff? That style of cooking was worn out over 50 years ago.
