What’s not to love about a dinner that can be made in one pot and is ready in about thirty minutes? Dinner doesn’t have to be complicated to be delicious!
This One Pot Garlic Chicken Alfredo recipe looks so good and is perfect for those hectic weeknights, when you need something fast and easy.
The pasta cooks right in the sauce, so there is no separate pot of water to drain, and the whole dinner is loaded with garlic.

Good to Know
- No heavy cream needed. This Alfredo gets its creaminess from milk, cream cheese and Parmesan. If you want to make another Alfredo and have no cream, see our heavy cream substitute guide.
- Grate the Parmesan yourself if you can. Pre-shredded cheese is coated to stop it clumping, and it melts less smoothly.
- Short pasta works best in a one pot dish, because it cooks evenly in the sauce.
- Leftovers thicken in the fridge; stir in a splash of milk or broth when you reheat.
