A freezing tip from Nichole: “You can freeze this for about a month, but I would definitely freeze it as a casserole without the biscuits. Top with the biscuits when you’re ready to make and serve.”
Tips
- Use chili without beans for picky eaters, or with beans to stretch it further.
- All-beef hot dogs hold their shape best once cut into bite-size pieces.
- Cheddar is the classic, but a cheddar and Monterey Jack mix melts more smoothly.
- Serve it with something fresh and crunchy, like coleslaw or a simple green salad.
