Social, elegant and fun, this cocktail is a lovely addition to any holiday party. Pretty and festive, with a ruby color and a vanilla and cranberry flavor combination, it is a winter party drink to celebrate the season with.
3 Ingredients Vanilla Cranberry Mimosa Cocktail
Whose recipe it is: Jenny Bullistron of Honey and Birch. The full recipe is on her site.
What goes in it (names only; check Jenny’s card for amounts):
- cranberry juice
- sparkling wine (champagne, prosecco or cava)
- vanilla flavored vodka
- optional garnish: fresh cranberries and whole vanilla beans
Makes: 1 drink. Time: about 5 minutes.
Why it stands out: three bottles and no syrup to cook, so it scales easily from one glass to a whole party tray. The vanilla vodka is what makes it different from a plain cranberry mimosa.
Good to know: chill the juice and the sparkling wine well ahead of time so the drink doesn’t need ice. Pour the sparkling wine last so it keeps its bubbles. For guests who don’t drink, cranberry juice topped with sparkling water and the same cranberry garnish looks just as festive on the tray.
