How To Make Sausage Gravy Stuffed Biscuits

Ingredients 

1. Bulk Country Breakfast Sausage 8 ounce
2. All-Purpose Flour 3 Tablespoons
3. Whole Milk 1 ¼ cups
4. Garlic powder ¼ teaspoon
5 .Rubbed Sage ¼ teaspoon
6. Salt and Pepper To Taste
7. Grands refrigerated biscuits 1 Tube (8 Ounce)
8.1 egg (Beaten well with slight water)

Instructions
1. Cook the sausages in a non-stick skillet. Break them apart randomly using a wooden spoon while it cooks over the skillet.
2. Sprinkle flour over the sausages in the skillet. Stir and cook 1 minute.
3. Gradually whisk in the milk.
4. Add garlic powder, sage, and salt and pepper to taste. Simmer the mixture well until it thickens.
5. Refrigerate the gravy overnight. In case you are in a hurry, line a baking sheet with parchment paper, spread the gravy thin and freeze for 30 minutes.
6. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Pull each biscuit apart into 2 layers.
7. Place a 2-3 tablespoon spoonful of chilled gravy on a biscuit half and top it with another biscuit piece.
8. Seal around the edges and tuck the edges under somewhat so they are less likely to pull apart.
9. Repeat for remaining biscuits. Brush top of each biscuit with egg wash.
10. Bake 15 to 18 minutes.

Thickened gravy is recommended for usage since it has to be stuffed in the biscuit, and thin mixture won’t stay as a filling. Other than that, there might be some leftover gravy.
