    Everybody loves quick, easy and tasty weeknight dinners. Here is a quick and easy main dish, perfect for a quick family dinner. What’s interesting about this delicious one pot dinner recipe is that kids that don’t even like cabbage, are totally in love with this dish.

    Easy Stuffed Cabbage Casserole

    1 Package Foster Farms Organic Ground Turkey
    2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
    1/2 White Onion – chopped
    1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
    1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder
    1/4 teaspoon Dried Thyme
    1/4 teaspoon Ground Pepper
    1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt
    14 ounce Can Diced Tomatoes (low sodium)
    1/2 Head Small Green Cabbage – chopped
    1½ Cups Water
    1 Cup Quick Cook Rice or Rice Blend (I used 10 minute cook rice & grain medley)
    1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Jack Cheese
    Chopped Parsley
    Salt/Pepper To Taste

    1. I was just thinking that! And in my mothers stuffed cabbage rolls, there is no tomato, and there is either sauerkraut or pickled cabbage leaves. Ah well…

        I make them the way my mom taught me and her mom taught her. This is the Polish way I guess. Some one commented they make theirs the Russian way. I am married to an American born Russian and he says there’s not that much difference.We do add tomato sauce over the rolled cabbages along with sauerkrat. It’s an option we like. Never ever nor have I ever eaten or heard of adding cheese. That doesn’t appeal to me at all. I think out of curiosity I may just try this recipe today. Will let you know how this works out.
